A Guided Reflection Workbook

Welcome. This is a space to sit with yourself — to reflect, release, and re-leaf. Move at your own pace. Nothing here is graded. Timing is Everything. You only get out of this, what you put in.                 The Power is within to turn Your i) around.

Why Re(!Leaf exists

A circle for the ones who were never sat in one.

Re(!Leaf didn't begin with a program or a plan — it began with guidance from my Atmosphere, four years walking alongside our mob through homelessness, healing and trauma, and a Cloud that got so full it rained down on my Tree.

My Re(!Leaf was the fruit it produced.

How to use this workbook

A simple map

  1. 01Arrive

Breathe. Land in your body before you open a section.

  2. 02Reflect

Read the intro slowly. Let the wisdom settle before you write.

  3. 03Respond

Write freely in each prompt. Grammar is not the point — truth is.

  4. 04Return

Come back often. Your reflections save here for you to revisit.

There is no right pace. Some sections take five minutes; some take five weeks. Both are healing.

Before you begin

A grounding ritual

  1. i.

Acknowledge Country. Take a moment to honour the land you are on, and the First Peoples who have cared for it for generations. Say their name if you know it. Feel your feet on the ground.

  2. ii.

Breathe — four in, six out. Repeat three times. Let the exhale be longer than the inhale. This is your nervous system saying: I am safe to feel.

  3. iii.

Set an intention. Not a goal — an intention. One sentence. "Today I am willing to…"

  4. iv.

Enter the walkabout. You are witnessed, even here, even now.

Enter the Walkabout

A gift at the end of the Walkabout — free, always

Humbled Pride — aware of one's own Dignity.

Peace, Responsibilities, Intelligence, Discipline, Empathy. Five things to carry out of the circle and into your family, your community and your Country.

The meaning

Re(!Leaf — a word with three doors.

Relief
Permission to put down what was never yours to carry. The exhale after a long-held breath.
Re-leaf
To grow again. A tree sheds so it can bud. Nothing is lost — only released, so something new can take root.
Turn the I around
The ! inside the word is the pivot — the moment the "I can't" becomes "I can." That's the power within.

The framework

The LEAF — place the old leaf on the fire, turn over a new one.

Live · Empowerment · Acceptance · Forgiveness becomes Life · Emotions · Attitude · Freedom. A guided walk through each petal, with cultural meaning, story, and reflection.
